“… nearly two-thirds of Americans — and almost three-quarters of the uninsured — still don’t know what’s coming,” according to the Huffington Post. That’s a surprising statistic, because the fact is that Obamacare has been sliced-and-diced since its enactment in 2010. It seems to me that either these folks have had their proverbial heads in the sand or they are not bright enough to understand the legislation.
One example of ignorance is a Facebook subscriber’s posted cancelation letter from BlueCross BlueShield, which by the way got over 93,000 shares. Shane Jansen posts that he got a letter from BlueCross BlueShield that said his chosen insurance plan was changed in favor of one that met Obamacare’s requirements. He complained that his premium in the new plan would cost him an additional $90 per month.
It just illustrates the ignorance of many Americans regarding Obamacare.
